Detroit Fall Bucket List

It's the peak of the crop season.  Produce is in abundance at the local farmer's market and it's a true sign that fall is near.  Leaves are beginning to fall into our pool and today my kids both wore jeans for the first time in months.

It's inevible...fall is near.  A time for apple picking, pumpkin carving, and raking leaves.  A time for hard cider and donuts.  A time to gather with friends over an outdoor fire.  Fall without doubt is my season because there are so many wonderful things to do!

In Michigan we spend fall weekends visiting cider mills and walking the colorful trails.   Full of vibrant colors as sunlight beams on red maple trees as we feel that crisp air breeze.

Clearly fall in Michigan is not to be spent indoors.  It is certainly best spent outdoors.  To prepare for these beautiful days ahead, I've created my Detroit Fall Bucket List.  Mark your calendars because fall in Michigan is sure to be the best with these fun things to do.

  3. I would love to go apple picking and oh how I miss fall leaves! We don't have much of a fall season here in the desert but I love to decorate my home to get the feel.

    1. Yes fall decorations will help give you that feel but don't worry we will be buried in snow shortly and I will long for desert weather.
