Happy New Year! 2019 has arrived and we have had some very mild temps here in the Detroit area. Today we got out for a nice walk in the woods and over this past weekend I actually ate my lunch outside! While this is great, I must say, a good layer of snow makes for a pretty picture and a fun day sledding.
It dawned on me today that it won't be long and my son will be gone to kindergarten and I won't have those few precious days during the week to do fun things together. It has also been decided that my daughter will attend Pre-K 4 days a week next school year and that means 1 less day a week with her also. Makes me sad to think I don't have babies anymore. With that being said, I want to make the most of the days we do have together.
As I approach my bucket list for 2019, I am searching for FREE things to do within Detroit. As I do my research, I am sharing what I find. Below is a list of free things to do in Detroit that are kid friendly. Have fun!
