Can you imagine the look on every kids face when they see all their favorite characters from Nick Jr. together at once as they sing, clap, dance, and move to the music with all their favorite Nick Jr. friends!
Nickelodeon and VStar Entertainment Group present Nick Jr. Live! “Move to the Music”, an all-new, one-of-a-kind adventure. For the first time on stage together, this musical spectacular features characters from multiple Nick Jr. hit animated series, including Bubble Guppies, PAW Patrol (produced by Spin Master Entertainment) , Dora The Explorer, Shimmer and Shine, Blue’s Clues and You, Blaze and the Monster Machines and Top Wing. Families will have the opportunity to make lifelong memories together at any of the six performances at the Fox Theatre in The District Detroit from Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 8.
Nick Jr. Live! “Move
to the Music” follows Dora and her PAW co-hosts, Marshall and Rubble, as
they invite their Nick Jr. friends to come together for a music-filled
production. Bubble Guppies’ Molly and
Gil, Rod and Penny from Top Wing,
Shimmer and Shine, and even Blue from the new Blue’s Clues &You! are throwing a Nick Jr. celebration.
Audiences will be transported to familiar Nick Jr. locations, including
Bubbletucky and Zahramay Falls. The unforgettable celebration will feature live
appearances, special on-screen guests and audience participation to engage the
whole family.
With innovative costuming and a Broadway style set, Nick Jr. Live! is a perfect way to
introduce theater to young children. The show is split into two acts with an
intermission and will include original music as well as familiar tunes from
Nick Jr. shows. A limited number of V.I.P. packages are available for each
performance and feature premium show seating, VIP merchandise item, an
exclusive photo opportunity with Blaze from Blaze
and the Monster Machines, as well as a post-show Meet & Greet party
with Dora the Explorer and Rubble from PAW

Sesame Street Live is coming back to Detroit in January. Every year Sesame Street Live makes its bright and colorful appearance at The Fox Theatre during those dark long winter days. It is always just what we needed to brighten our spirits. I am dreaden the year that my kids are too old for Sesame Street but then again are we ever too old for Sesame Street? I think not! It's always a fun party!

visits Detroit Wednesday, January 22, 2020 to Sunday, February 2, 2020 for 17
performances at the Fox Theatre in The District Detroit. The inaugural
production under Feld Entertainment’s new partnership with the non-profit
educational organization, Sesame Workshop, features favorite Sesame Street pals Elmo, Abby Cadabby,
Big Bird and more in a brand-new sensory adventure live on stage.
From the moment the curtain rises, parents and children
alike will be on their feet dancing along to a pop-infused soundtrack with new Sesame Street friends and live emcees
Casey and Caleb. Planning a party isn’t easy when everybody has a different
idea of fun, but with some help from the audience, it becomes the ultimate
reflection of what friendship plus teamwork can accomplish.
Party guests will sing along to new and familiar songs, like
“I Love Trash” and “C is for Cookie,” with Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster;
dance to the beat with Elmo; explore a wintry wonderland when Abby Cadabby’s
magic goes awry; take flight with Big Bird to learn about some of his fabulous
feathered friends; and discover new cultures in an interactive Spanish lesson
with Rosita. A unique, up-close-and-personal pre-show experience will be
offered at an additional charge prior to select performances, allowing families
the opportunity to tour the on-stage neighborhood of their favorite, furry
friends before they arrive for the main show. The fun doesn’t end there. A
variety of interactive activities give children the chance to create, discover
and learn as they help decorate for the upcoming party.

Rent is a rock musical production based on the music, lyrics, and book by Jonathan Larson. The story is of young artists struggling to survive in the Lower Manhattan's East Village during the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. In 1996 Rent won the Tony award for Best Musical.

The Show

About the Show
Elmo is
inspired to learn a magic trick when he meets magician extraordinaire Justin,
who has come to Sesame Street to perform a magic show. But there’s one
problem…Elmo doesn’t know how to do magic!
Through Justin’s encouragement to practice, work hard and never give up,
Elmo embarks on an extraordinary journey.
He learns that it’s okay to make mistakes and that magic can be found
anywhere when you believe in yourself and the power of what’s yet to be. Cookie
Monster and Gonger uncover the science and fun of baking while Abby Cadabby
experiences the transformative abilities of caterpillars. Big Bird learns about
the magnifying magic of shadow puppetry while Rosita orchestrates a rhythmic
beat using everyday objects around her. And artist Grover mixes up the pigment
power of the three primary colors. With high-energy dance numbers and a
soundtrack that’s sure to get everyone out of their seats, Sesame Street Live!
